Gallery Three

I painted in oils in a realistic style for nearly 20 years. Then I changed to watercolor. A few years ago, my desire to simplify life carried over into my painting. My style is one of simplicity, using clean shapes and bold colors to tell the story. I find the freedom of letting my mind take over a chosen subject, not being tied up with details or duplication of the subject, while playing with the paint on the canvas, exciting.
